Brock Purdy is experiencing a challenging outing on the field, with the San Francisco 49ers quarterback displaying a less-than-ideal performance. In a game marked by an underwhelming team effort against the Cleveland Browns, Purdy’s struggles were evident when he threw his first interception of the season.
This pivotal moment unfolded in the third quarter, with the game deadlocked at 10-10. What made this interception particularly significant was the fact that Purdy had maintained an impressive streak of 248 pass attempts without an interception before this setback. This remarkable run was the second-longest in franchise history, second only to the legendary Alex Smith, who holds the record with 317 consecutive pass attempts without an interception.
San Francisco 49ers and Brock Purdy scored first against the New York Giants.
Purdy led the 49ers to the first touchdown of the game on their third drive by passing to rookie Ronnie Bell for the score.
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Jauan Jennings secured a pass from quarterback Brock Purdy to move the chains on third down.

that, he became the first Mr Irrelevant ever to complete a pass in the regular
season. He achieved that feat on October 23 against the Chiefs, when he entered
the game to complete 4 of 9 passes (44.4%) for 66 yards and an interception in
the 44-23 loss.
