Former YouTuber Jenna Marbles and Julien Solomita tied the knot after nine years of dating, Twitch shared on Instagram Thursday, December 12. The couple earlier revealed that they were engaged in 2021. Julien shared the news of the engagement at that time during a Twitch stream.

In a series of pictures, Solomita posed with his bride and their dog. He wore a classic suit for the occasion, while Marbles donned a white gown with long sleeves and lace details.

Who is Jenna Marbles?

Jenna Marbles is an former YouTuber. She rose to fame after posting videos like How to Trick People Into Thinking You’re Good Looking, which gained 5.3 million views in the first week. Before announcing that she would be quitting YouTube in June 2020, she amassed over 20 million subscribers to her channel.

Marbles’ full name is Jenna Nicole Mourey. She was born on September 15, 1986, in Rochester, New York, United States. She earned a Bachelor of Science in psychology at Suffolk University, Boston, Massachusetts. Later, she pursued a Master of Education in sport psychology and counseling at Boston University. She supported herself by working at a tanning salon, vlogging, go-go dancing at nightclubs, and bartending.

In 2010, Mourey started her career with Barstool Sports, where she wrote for their female-oriented website StoolLaLa. She left the publication in 2011.

In August 2011, The New York Times and ABC News broadcast her video How to Avoid Talking to People You Don’t Want to Talk To. Mourey played Eve in the Epic Rap Battles of History episode Adam vs. Eve. She also featured in Smosh – The Movie and The Annoying Orange. Marbles became the first YouTube personality to have her wax figure displayed at Madame Tussauds New York.

Her then-boyfriend, Julien Solomita, announced on Twitter on June 26 that the couple’s joint podcast and Twitch streaming will be suspended indefinitely. When Solomita, returned to streaming on the joint Twitch channel on June 6, he announced on behalf of both of them that the channel would be transitioning to be solely run under his name, as Marbles choose to remain out of the spotlight.
