Fallout maker Epic Games has announced that three games in the Fallout series will be available for free till Friday, December 23. The offer is part of Epic Games Store’s 15 days of free games during the holiday season.

Starting on December 22, the offer will go on till December 23, 8am PST / 11am EST / 4pm GMT. Interested users can visit the Epic Game Store’s promotional page to access the offer.

As with all Epic Games giveaways, the Fallout giveaway can be accessed like purchasing a normal game, but the price tag has been reduced to $0 in order to make it effectively free.

Even while Fallout is now much more well-known for its post-Bethesda incarnation than for anything else, the first Fallout games are the reason one of gaming’s largest franchises got its start.

While more recent games offer post-apocalyptic exploration that is bigger, simpler, and more approachable, Fallout and Fallout 2 offer much more tactical depth and consistent storytelling. Fallout Tactics is a well-regarded examination of the series’ fighting, even though it isn’t appearing on many classics lists these days.

Throughout the holiday season, Epic is giving away free games at a rate of one per day over a period of two weeks. The annual tradition of generous giveaways has already featured several high-profile games from respected studios like Square Enix, Take-Two Interactive, and Warner Bros.

Individual games are only available during specific 24-hour windows, so interested players must visit the store every day if they want to claim everything.
