George Kittle’s grandmother, who turned 100 on January 6, came to the Levi’s Stadium to attend the San Francisco 49ers vs Arizona Cardinals Week 18 game on Sunday.
Kittle’s family has always been lovers of football. His father, Bruce Kittle, is himself a former coach who had also played for Iowa.
The 29-year-old 49er followed in his father’s footsteps and also played for the Iowa Hawkeyes from 2013 to 2016.
While the Cardinals were leading in terms of passing yards in the first quarter, the 49ers took the lead when it came to rushing yards.
The 49ers will have a first-round bye if they are able to win the NFC, giving them a weekend off while others battle in the Wild Card Round. San Francisco will have home field advantage for Super Wild Card Weekend if it stays in second place or falls to third.
