Plot
Looking at the events from Dahmer’s perspective and demonstrating how he repeatedly evaded capture due to the authorities’ racial prejudice, Monster: the Jeffrey Dahmer Story offers a new perspective on the Jeffrey Dahmer story. Due to police irresponsibility, when a 14-year-old Laotian boy attempted to flee Dahmer’s apartment in 1991, the police instead handed the terrified child back to the man after he claimed they were a couple involved in an argument. After killing the boy, Dahmer defiled his body. He was sentenced to 16 consecutive life terms after being found guilty, and he later admitted, “I made my fantasy life more powerful than my real one.”
