Edward Norton is a well-known American actor and filmmaker. The two-time Oscar nominee will appear in Rian Johnson’s Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery. Norton plays Miles Bron, a tech billionaire who invites his friends to a getaway on his private Greek island in the gripping crime thriller. 

Directed by Rian Johnson, the upcoming film also stars Daniel Craig, Janelle Monae, Kathryn Hahn, Leslie Odom Jr., Jessica Henwick, Madelyn Cline, and Kate Hudson. Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery will premiere on Netflix on December 23. And before that, it’ll have its global premiere on September 10 at the Toronto International Film Festival.

Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery

Knives Out was a huge success when it was released in 2019, giving Rian Johnson another chance to create a highly entertaining movie, featuring Daniel Craig as Detective Benoit Blanc. Craig reprises his role as Blanc, but this time he’ll be dealing with a different incident alongside a new cast of characters.

The first Knives Out 2 trailer was released on September 8th. Twitter Movies released a teaser to promote the upcoming footage, which features its own kind of mystery.

The teaser trailer, released on September 15, begins with cinematic shots that introduce us to the new characters, which range from a terrified Edward Norton to a buff David Bautista. Meanwhile, Benoit Blanc informs the cast that they were intending a mystery and a game, but this game is dangerous, about murder, and their lives are at stake. This is followed by shots of the luminary star cast being introduced as we get a better look at the premise- a group of people on an island participating in a murder mystery game until things take a dark turn and a real murder is committed.

Knives Out 3

Edward Norton will not only reprise his role as the expert detective in a sequel to Knives Out but also in another sequel that will be backed by Netflix.

It’s not surprising that the plot for Knives Out 3 is unknown, given that we don’t know what happened in the previous film. It’s unclear whether these two sequels will be linked or will only feature Craig’s return (Knives Out 2 isn’t expected to connect to the original plot of its main private eye).
