Daz Black death hoax: YouTuber releases ‘I’m not dead’ video to dispel rumors

Daz Black has been the subject of internet rumors over the past few months, according to which the YouTuber allegedly passed away after contracting a “severe” illness.

The gamer gained popularity on YouTube in 2017, and his most popular videos featured screen recordings of him playing along with humorous narration. Daz, who now has over seven million subscribers on the platform, has now debunked the death hoax rumors by posting on Twitter and has revealed to fans what’s really going on.

Daz Black is not dead 

In a video uploaded on Twitter captioned ‘I’m not dead’, Daz Black essentially put an end to two months of fake reports and speculations of him passing away. The video began with a recording of a news broadcast that offered condolences after the YouTuber’s alleged passing with emotional background music.

Reacting to the ‘Breaking News’, Black exclaimed, “I mean, it’s getting ridiculous now. Do you want me to die? Why does everyone keep saying I’m dead? Am I dead? Is this a case where I’m actually dead and I don’t realize it? Was Bruce Willis right? The ghosts don’t know they’re dead? ‘Cause I feel alive, I feel very much alive! I’m not dead. I’m convinced I’m not dead, I’m alive!”

Having to explain to fans whether he was “dead” or not wasn’t a new situation for Daz. In 2018, he posted a video to Twitter with the message “I’m not dead” and several laughing emojis after it. Providing an explanation for his lack of activity on his social media accounts, Black published an update indicating he had been away in London and at premieres as questions regarding his whereabouts arose.
