Sanjana Sanghi dedicates her 24th birthday to her late nani

Sanghi celebrated her 24th birthday on Thursday, dedicating it to
her late nani (grandmother). Sanghi took to Instagram sharing pictures of her
birthday with balloons and cake.

In the post, she wrote a note
dedicated to her late nani, wishing she was with her on this special day.

“I
wish you were here today, Nani. Every birthday, I find myself with a lump in my
throat, lost in my Nani’s memory yet left with a helpless heap of gratitude for
the love I have in my life in the form of the incredible people that surround
me,” she wrote.

She further expressed how her grandmother’s qualities of kindness and
compassion affected her life.

“As I’m growing up, I understand a little bit better of what
my Nani lived and sweared by that I see in my mother every single day that
leaves in endless awe of these beautiful women- ultimately, love &
compassion for our people is ALL that matters in this very short life we all
have, that cannot be taken for granted,” she further wrote.

Sanghi celebrated the occasion alongside her birthday twin
and friend, Meghna Chadha. The two were seen cutting the cake together in the
pictures.

In the end the actress thanked everyone for their wishes and
love. She wrote, “Thank you, to you all, for giving it to me in such abundance. Thank you for your ocean of wishes and blessings.
It is both priceless & precious. It leaves me astounded.”

Sanghi has appeared in films such as Rockstar, Hindi Medium and Fukrey Returns. Recently, she was seen in the 2020 film Dil Bechara, in which she
starred opposite late actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
