In an unexpected decision, HBO
Network
has decided to cancel the western TV series Westworld after its recently
released fourth season.

One of HBO’s most successful series, Westworld is a dystopian
science fiction drama created by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. After the fourth
season premiered in June 2022, Nolan and Joy were planning for a fifth and final
season and were in negotiations with HBO to produce it; however, the show was canceled
by the TV network.

The Sopranos

This American crime drama created
by David Chase first aired in January 1999. The series ran for six seasons till
June 2007.

Starring James Gandolfini, Lorraine
Bracco, Michael Imperioli, and Edie Falco in lead roles, the story revolves
around the life of New Jersey-based Italian-American Mafia Tony Soprano, as he
tries to balance his family life and his role as a criminal organisation leader.
The instances are explored through his therapy sessions with his psychiatrist,
Jennifer Melfi.

The show is regarded as one of the
greatest and most influential television series of all time and was ranked first
in Rolling Stones’ list of 100 Greatest TV Shows of All Time.

Barry

Barry is an American dark comedy
crime drama that premiered on HBO in March 2018. Three seasons of the show have
been released now, with the fourth season currently in the works.

life of Barry Berkman, a hitman who travels to Los Angeles to kill someone but
finds himself joining an acting class. He meets aspiring actress Sally Reed and
rethinks his life choices while dealing with his criminal associates at the
same time.

This ensemble American drama
series, created by Alan Ball, premiered in 2001. The show ran for 5 seasons
till August 2005.

in lead roles, the story depicts the lives of the Fisher family, who run a
funeral home business handed down by the late Nathaniel Fisher Sr.

Chernobyl

Chernobyl is a 2019 historical
drama series created by Craig Mazin. It is a 5-episode television miniseries.

revolves around the nuclear accident that occurred in 1986 at the Chernobyl
