Livingstone was yet to deliver big in the IPL. On Sunday, the 28-year-old justified his Rs 11.5 crore price tag by scoring his first half-century.

Coming in to bat in the second over when his side was already down two wickets, Livingstone slammed Choudhary for 10 runs in his first over and then 26 in the pacer’s next.

Watch:

On the first deliver of the fifth over, Liam Livingstone whacked Mukesh Choudhary over mid-wicket for a 108 metre hit- the biggest in the IPL 2022 so far. The English hard-hitter beat his own record for the season – 105 metres. He then hit three boundaries and two maximums in the over to take the total to 26 runs.
