Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams received a 58-yard pass from QB Derek Carr and ran to the endzone to open the scoring against the Kansas City Chiefs. The play happened in the first quarter of this Week 5, Monday Night Football game. The match is played at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas city.

This was Derek Carr’s 200th career passing touchdown and puts him on an elite list of players that have thrown this many passing TDs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ Tom Brady leads the entire NFL with 631 career passing TDs thrown, followed by retired New Orleans Saints QB Drew Brees with 571.
Raiders were 4th and one at the Chiefs’ 22-yard line when Carr threw this long-range pass. Adams was chased by Chiefs’ cornerback Rashad Fenton in an unsuccessful attempt to stop the high-flying WR. This was the former Packers’ fourth TD of the season after signing with the Las Vegas side this off-season.

Derek Carr and Davante Adams were both parts of the same college at Fresno State and combined for 38 endzone play during their time for the Bulldogs’ football team. Carr played for the team from 2009-2013 while Adams only played from 2011-2013.
Both players were drafted in the same 2014 NFL Draft class and in the same second round. Adams was picked 53rd overall by Green Bay while Carr was selected as the 36th overall pick by the Oakland Raiders, who are now the Las Vegas Raiders.
This season has not been a great start for the Las Vegas Raiders, who are at the bottom of the AFC West with just a single win while loosing three of their first four games. The team started the season with a 0-3 record, before their first win against divisional rivals Denver Broncos.
Derek Carr has not been great at the QB position this season, throwing four interceptions with just seven TDs now and is outside the Top-10 in both categories, NFL passing yards leader and passing TD leader.
