NFL fans were handed a surprise on Monday night, September 26, when popular rapper Lil Uzi Vert attended the NFL game between the New York Giants and Dallas Cowboys at the Metlife Stadium. Lil Uzi Vert, 27, is famous for his songs such as Ps & Qs, Erase Your Social and The Way Life Goes and has featured on the Billboards in his career as well.

The Giants and the Cowboys were playing the final game of Week 3 and ahead of the game, rapper Lil Uzi Vert made an appearance on the field. A video snippet of Vert on the field was shared by the NFL on social media platforms, however, the rapper was not audible in it.

The rapper was present in the stands at the football game and clicked photos with fans at the stadium. 

Symere Bysil Woods, popularly known as Lil Uzi Vert, won the MTV Video Music Awards in 2017, for his song XO Tour Llif3, in the category of Song of Summer. However, he has received nominations for several other awards in his career, including the Billboard Music Awards, the Grammy Awards and American Music Awards.

The New York Giants have made a perfect start to the 2022 NFL season. They beat the Tennessee Titans 21-20 in the opening week on September 11, before replicating their success in the subsequent week, defeating the Carolina Panthers 19-16 on September 17. 

On the other hand, the Dallas Cowboys were beaten 3-19 by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 1. However, they bounced back in the next week, defeating the Cincinnati Bengals 20-17 in Week 2. At the time of writing this article, the Cowboys are equal at 3-3 against the Giants in the second quarter, with 11:17 left on the clock.
