We
might have an answer to American rapper and musician Lil Uzi Vert’s recent move
of getting a pink diamond embedded on forehead, a step dubbed as crazy and bizarre
by fans and social media users, and the answer, it seems, lies in an Indian series.

Yes, you read it right. The rapper on Sunday took to Twitter to share images of some characters from an Indian mythological show, Mahabharata. The show is based on an ancient Hindu epic of the same name.

Comparing his forehead accessory to designs imprinted on Hindu god’s, often referred to as Bindi Vert said, “I’m just an Average dude”.

Here’s the post we are talking about.

While we are not sure if that’s what the rapper meant by the post, but his fans on Twitter sure took it like that.

“You not indian tho bae,” said a Twitter user in response to Vert’s tweet.

Another user supported Vert by saying there’s no harm if the singer wants to look like Hindu gods.

Rapper Lil Uzi Vert on Wednesday posted an Instagram post of his forehead, which now is studded with a pink diamond after which he was criticised by fans who asked him why did he make a useless purchase like this.

The process costed him around $24 Million and many social media compared him to Vision, the Marvel superhero.
