Less than two weeks ago, the Atlanta Falcons and Carolina Panthers played one of the 2022 season’s most entertaining games that ended with the Falcons emerging victorious in overtime, the final score being 37-34.
This week again the NFC South teams battled each other, but this time the result was decided by a dominating victory for the Panthers, making it a win each for both teams in the 2022 NFL season.

The Falcons fall to 4-6 with this loss while the Panthers are 3-7 after 10 weeks of football.

1) Carolina pulls off a surprise win
It was a surprising victory for the team who had lost five of the seven games coming into Thursday. Trading away key players such as RB Christian McCaffrey to the San Francisco 49ers looked like a move that was in the direction of rebuilding but they are able to remain afloat because of consistent plays from their side.
2) Panthers dominate on both ends of the floor
The Panthers have won three games this season with today’s victory and all their wins have come against their NFC South rivals only. They lost their last game against the same opponents while dominating this week’s game from start to finish, ending with 232 rushing yards for the match, their most in a single game this season.
3) D’Onta Foreman’s dominance against Falcons continues
Foreman has been sensational this season when playing against Atlanta. In the Week 6 game that resulted in a loss, the 26-year-old rushed 26 times for 118 yards and three TDs for his best game of the season. But he topped that performance this week, running 31 times with the football for a total of 130 yards and a touchdown. This was the fourth end zone play of the season and all of his six-point plays have come against the Falcons only.
