Sensex rose 427.49 points or 0.80% to 54,178.46 and the
Nifty was up by 143.10 points or 0.89% to 16,132.90 in the previous session.

Sensex touched high and low of 54,254.79 and 53,927.26,
respectively. There were 21 stocks advancing against 9 stock declining on the
index.

Nifty traded in a range of 16,150.50 and 16,045.95. There
were 38 stocks advancing against 12 stocks declining on the index.

The broader indices ended in green with the BSE Mid cap
index rising 1.19%, while Small cap index was up by 1.30%. On the sectoral
front, Metal was up by 4.49%, Consumer Durables was up by 3.24%, Realty was up
by 2.55%, Basic Materials was up by 2.22% and Capital Goods was up by 2.01%,
while there were no losing sectoral indices on the BSE.

The top gainers on the Sensex were Titan Company up by
5.69%, Tata Steel up by 4.88%, Larsen & Toubro up by 3.52%, Indusind Bank
up by 2.93% and Mahindra & Mahindra up by 2.57%. On the flip side, Dr.
Reddy’s Lab down by 1.26%, Nestle down by 1.14%, Bharti Airtel down by 1.05%,
Reliance Industries down by 1.01% and Bajaj Finance down by 0.98% were the top
losers.

The top gainers on Nifty were Hindalco up by 6.88%, Titan
Company up by 5.78%, Tata Steel up by 5.63%, JSW Steel up by 3.96% and Tata
Motors up by 3.70%. On the flip side, Dr. Reddy’s Lab down by 1.25%, Nestle
down by 1.13%, Cipla down by 1.12%, Bharti Airtel down by 0.99%, Hindustan
Unilever down by 0.90% were the top losers.

ABB India Limited, Aether Industries Limited, Chalet Hotels
Limited, Dangee Dums Limited and Elecon Engineering Company Limited have hit a
52-week high on Thursday.

5Paisa Capital Limited, Ajanta Pharma Limited, Balaji
Telefilms Limited, Electrotherm (India) Limited and International Conveyors
Limited have made fresh 52 week low on Thursday.

RELIANCE, TITAN, HDFCBANK, TATASTEEL, HINDUNILVR, BAJFINANCE,
ICICIBANK, TATAMOTORS, AXISBANK and BANKBARODA were the most active equities on
NSE.

SBI Mutual Fund-SBI ETF IT, UTI Mutual Fund – UTI
NIfty Next 50 Exchange Traded Fund – UTI NIFTY N, Ajmera Realty & Infra
India Limited, Surya Roshni Limited and Lakshmi Finance & Industrial
Corporation Limited were the top volume gainers.

the upper price band while 21STCENMGM, AAKASH, ADROITINFO, ALPSINDUS and
ANDHRACEMT hit the lower price band. There were 103 securities that hit the
upper band while 41 hit the lower band on July 7, 2022.
