The Sensex rose 81.13 points or 0.15% to 58,387.93 while
the Nifty was up by 15.50 points or 0.09% to 17,397.50 at close of trading on Friday.

The Sensex moved in a high and low band of 58,649.19 and 58,244.86.
There were 16 stocks advancing against 14 declining stocks on the index.

The Nifty traded in a range of 17,474.40 and 17,348.75.
There were 28 stocks advancing against 22 stocks declining on the index.

The broader indices ended in green with the BSE mid-cap
index increasing 0.09%, while small-cap index was up by 0.23%. The top gaining
sectoral indices on the BSE were Telecom up by 1.34%, Basic Materials up by
0.89%, TECK up by 0.82%, IT up by 0.72% and Bankex up by 0.47%, while Utilities
down by 1.86%, Power down by 1.59%, Auto down by 1.12%, Consumer Durables down
by 0.84% and Consumer Discretionary down by 0.45% were the top losing indices
on BSE.

The top gainers on the Sensex were Ultratech Cement up by
2.86%, ICICI Bank up by 2.26%, Bharti Airtel up by 1.30%, Power Grid
Corporation up by 1.20% and Infosys up by 1.06%. On the flip side, Mahindra
& Mahindra down by 2.04%, Maruti Suzuki down by 1.50%, Reliance Industries
down by 1.46%, Indusind Bank down by 1.06% and Bajaj Finserv down by 0.59% were
the top losers.

The top gainers on Nifty were Shree Cement up by 2.66%,
Ultratech Cement up by 2.44%,  ICICI Bank
up by 2.04%, UPL up by 1.47% and Bharti Airtel up by 1.33%. On the flip side,
Britannia Industries down by 2.28%, Hindalco down by 2.22%, Eicher Motors down
by 2.03%, Mahindra & Mahindra down by 1.98%, and Reliance Industries down
by 1.52% were the top losers.

20 Microns Limited, Adani Enterprises Limited, Adani
Transmission Limited, Axita Cotton Limited, Bhagiradha Chemicals &
Industries Limited and Cholamandalam Investment and Finance Company Limited have
hit a 52-week high on Friday.

Alembic Pharmaceuticals Limited, Debock Industries Limited,
Kotak Nifty India Consumption ETF and Motilal Oswal Mutual Fund – Motilal Oswal
S&P BSE Healthcare ETF Limited and Rama Phosphates Limited touched a
52-week low on Friday.

Zomato Limited (ZOMATO), Reliance Industries Limited (RELIANCE),
NMDC Limited (NMDC), ICICI Bank Limited (ICICI) and State Bank of India (SBIN) were
the most active equities on NSE.

AXIS MUTUAL FUND – Axis Nifty AAA Bond Plus SDL Apr 2026
50-50 ETF, UTI S&P BSE Sensex Next 50 ETF, Orissa Bengal Carrier Limited,
Indbank Merchant Banking Services Limited and RKEC Projects Limited were the
top volume gainers.

21st Century Management Services Limited (21STCENMGM), Adroit
Infotech Limited (ADROITINFO), Agri-Tech India Limited (AGRITECH), Alkali
Metals Limited (ALKALI) and Art Nirman Limited (ARTNIRMAN) hit the upper price
band.

Adani Power Limited (ADANIPOWER), Akash Infra-Projects
Limited (AKASH), Alps Industries Limited (ALPSINDUS), Antarctica Limited
(ANTGRAPHIC) and Bartronics India Limited (BARTRONICS) hit the lower price
band. There were 82 securities that hit the upper band while 49 hit the lower
band on August 5, 2022.
