The Sensex rose 54.13 points or 0.09% to 59,085.43 while
the Nifty was up by 27.45 points or 0.16% to 17,604.95 at close of trading on Wednesday.

The Sensex moved in a high and low band of 59,170.87 and
58,760.09. There were 15 stocks advancing against 15 declining stocks on the
index.

The Nifty traded in a range of 17,623.65 and 17,499.25. There
were 26 stocks advancing against 24 stocks declining on the index.

The broader indices ended in green with the BSE mid-cap
index up by 0.80% and small-cap index up by 0.73%. The top gaining sectoral
indices on the BSE were Realty up by 1.74%, Industrials up by 0.92%, Telecom up
by 0.91%, Capital Goods up by 0.80%, Bankex up by 0.67% while, IT down by
0.18%, TECK down by 0.15%, Consumer Durables down by 0.13%, Oil & Gas down
by 0.10%, Auto down by 0.09% were the losing indices on BSE.

The top gainers on the Sensex were Indusind Bank up by
2.86%, NTPC up by 1.29%, Larsen & Toubro up by 0.92%, ICICI Bank up by
0.91% and Power Grid Corporation up by 0.90%. On the flip side, Tata Steel down
by 0.93%, TCS down by 0.86%, Titan Company down by 0.80%, Sun Pharma down by
0.69% and SBI down by 0.56% were the top losers.

The top gainers on Nifty were Apollo Hospital up by 3.17%,
Indusind Bank up by 2.89%, ONGC up by 1.68%, ICICI Bank up by 1.06% and NTPC up
by 1.04%. On the flip side, BPCL down by 1.24%, Tata Steel down by 1.21%,
Divi’s Lab down by 1.03%, TCS down by 0.93% and Titan Company down by 0.90%
were the top losers.

20 Microns Limited, ABB India Limited, Adani Transmission
Limited, Archidply Decor Limited and Andhra Paper Limited have hit a 52-week
high on Wednesday.

ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund-ICICI Prudential Nifty
Infrastructure ETF, Modison Limited, Praxis Home Retail Limited, Sanofi India
Limited and Sportking India Limited touched a 52-week low on Wednesday.

Reliance Industries Limited (RELIANCE), RBL Bank Limited
(RBLBANK), Bharti Airtel Limited (BHARTIARTL), Adani Enterprises Limited
(ADANIENT) and HDFC Bank Limited (HDFCBANK) were the most active equities on
NSE.

Nippon India ETF Nifty Infrastructure BeES, GVK Power &
Infrastructure Limited, Ambica Agarbathies & Aroma industries Limited, Lyka
Labs Limited and ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund – ICICI Pru Nifty 200 Momentum 30
ETF were the top volume gainers.

21st Century Management Services Limited (21STCENMGM),
ABM International Limited (ABMINTLLTD), AKG Exim Limited (AKG), Ambica
Agarbathies & Aroma industries Limited (AMBICAAGAR) and AMD Industries
Limited (AMDIND) hit the upper price band.

Adani Power Limited (ADANIPOWER), Antarctica Limited
(ANTGRAPHIC), Brightcom Group Limited (BCG), BKM Industries Limited (BKMINDST)
and Barak Valley Cements Limited (BVCL) hit the lower price band. There were 94
securities that hit the upper band while 35 hit the lower band on August 24,
2022.
