The Sensex declined 151.60 or 0.25% to 61,033.55 while the Nifty was down by 45.80 or 0.25% to close at 18,157.00 at the end of Wednesday’s trading session.
The Sensex moved in a high and low band of 61,447.23 and 60,905.15. A total of 8 stocks advanced against 22 declining on the index.

The Nifty traded in the high-low range of 18,296.40 and 18,117.50. On the index, 14 stocks advanced and 36 stocks declined.
The broader indices ended lower with the BSE MidCap index losing 0.52% and the SmallCap index down by 0.33%. The top losing sectoral indices on the BSE were Realty down by 1.42%, Metal 1.04%, Consumer Durables 1.03%, Healthcare 0.98%, and Consumer Discretionary 0.93%, while Services up by 1.47%, Bankex 0.25%, FMCG 0.22%, and Telecommunication 0.03% were the gaining sectoral indices on BSE.

The top losers on the Sensex were Power Grid down by 4.06%, Tech Mahindra 2.32, Sun Pharma 1.49%, Bajaj Finserv 1.35%, and NTPC 1.34%. While the gainers on the index were ITC up by 1.99%, Dr Reddy’s Labs 1.22%, Kotak Mahindra Bank 0.71%, HCL Technologies 0.56%, and IndusInd Bank 0.44%.
The top losers on the Nifty were Hindalco down by 4.74%, Power Grid Corp 4.04%, Divi’s Lab by 3.44%, Grasim Industries by 2.04% and Sun Pharma Industries by 1.62%. While the top gainers were Adani Ports & SEZ up by 2.99%, Coal India 2.93%, ITC 2.04%, Hero Motocorp 0.88%, and Dr. Reddy’s Lab 0.88%.

Khaitan (India) Limited, Refex Industries Limited, PI Industries Limited, Union Bank of India, and Bank of India hit their 52-week high on Wednesday.
Indigo Paints Limited, Divi’s Laboratories Limited, Ginni Filaments Limited, Ace Integrated Solutions Limited, and DMCC Specialty Chemicals Limited touched a 52-week low on Wednesday.

Bank of Baroda, PI Industries Limited, Punjab National Bank, Adani Ports & SEZs, and Coal India Limited were the most active equities on NSE.
The top volume gainers were IVP Limited, Keynote Financial Services Limited, Honda India Power Products Limited, SMS Pharmaceuticals Limited, and PI Industries Limited.
Adani Power Limited, Country Condo’s Limited, Dangee Dums Limited, Honda India Power Products Limited, and HLV Limited hit their upper price band.

Nitco Limited, Vishnu Chemicals Limited, Sri Adhikari Brothers Television Network Limited, Kshitij Polyline Limited, and Kirloskar Electric Company Limited hit their lower price band. A total of 113 securities hit the upper price band, 40 securities hit the lower band and 14 securities hit both the upper and lower bands on November 09, 2022.
