The Sensex rose 545.25 points, 0.95%, to 58,115.50 while
the Nifty was up by 181.80 points, 1.06%, to 17,340.05 at close of trading on Monday.

The Sensex moved in a high and low band of 58,170.67 and
57,540.36. There were 24 stocks advancing against 6 declining stocks on the
index.

The Nifty traded in a range of 17,356.25 and 17,154.80.
There were 38 stocks advancing against 11 stocks declining on the index, while
1 stock remain unchanged on the index.

The broader indices ended in green with the BSE mid-cap
index increasing 1.51%, while small-cap index was up by 1.47%. On the sectoral
front, Power was up by 3.43%, Utilities up by 3.38%, Auto up by 3.23%, Telecom
up by 2.49% and Industrials up by 2.31%, while there were no losing sectoral
indices on the BSE.

The top gainers on the Sensex were Mahindra & Mahindra
up by 6.15%, Reliance Industries up by 2.64%, Maruti Suzuki up by 2.64%, Kotak
Mahindra Bank up by 2.42% and Bharti Airtel up by 2.40%. On the flip side, Sun
Pharma down by 2.65%, Hindustan Unilever down by 1.45%, Indusind Bank down by
0.40%, Nestle down by 0.35% and Asian Paints down by 0.26% were the top losers.

The top gainers on Nifty were Tata Motors up by 6.77%,
Mahindra & Mahindra up by 6.02%, Adani Ports & SEZ up by 4.88%, Bharti
Airtel up by 3.27% and ONGC up by 3.02%. On the flip side, Sun Pharma down by
2.86%, HDFC Life Insurance down by 1.89%, Hindustan Unilever down by 1.53%,
Britannia Industries down by 1.01% and Divi’s Lab down by 0.90% were the top
losers.

Adani Enterprises Limited, Adani Transmission Limited, AIA Engineering
Limited, Akshar Spintex Limited and ANDHRA PAPER LIMITED have hit a 52-week
high on Monday.

ARSS Infrastructure Projects Limited, DCM Limited, DRC
Systems India Limited, ICICI Prudential Nifty 5 Yr Benchmark G-SEC ETF and NAVA
Limited touched a 52-week low on Monday.

Tata Motors Limited (TATAMOTORS), Reliance Industries Limited
(RELIANCE), Mahindra & Mahindra Limited (M&M), Tata Steel Limited
(TATASTEEL) and HDFC Bank Limited (HDFCBANK) were the most active equities on
NSE.

UTI S&P BSE Sensex ETF, Eveready Industries India Limited,
Anmol India Limited, Nilkamal Limited and Agarwal Industrial Corporation
Limited were the top volume gainers.

3P Land Holdings Limited (3PLAND), 63 Moons Technologies
Limited (63MOONS), A2Z Infra Engineering Limited (A2ZINFRA), Adroit Infotech
Limited (ADROITINFO) and Agro Phos India Limited (AGROPHOS) hit the upper price
band.

21st Century Management Services Limited (21STCENMGM), Akash
Infra-Projects Limited (AKASH), Andhra Cements Limited (ANDHRACEMT), Antarctica

There were 135 securities that hit the upper band while 70 hit the lower band
on August 1, 2022.
