The Sensex jumped 234.79 or 0.39% to 61,185.15 while the Nifty was up by 85.65 or 0.47% to close at 18,202.80 at the end of Monday’s trading session.
The Sensex moved in a high and low band of 61,401.54 and 60,714.36. A total of 18 stocks advanced against 12 declining on the index.

The Nifty traded in the high-low range of 18,255.50 and 18,064.75. On the index, 34 stocks advanced 15 stocks declined, and 1 was stable
The broader indices ended higher with the BSE MidCap index gaining 0.69% and the SmallCap index up by 0.64%. The top gaining sectoral indices on the BSE were Auto up by 1.23%, Oil and Gas 1.23%, Realty 1.11%, Energy 1.06%, and Metal 0.98%, while Healthcare down by 1.00%, Consumer Durables 0.41% were the losing sectoral indices on BSE.

The top gainers on the Sensex were SBI up by 3.44%, Tata Steel 1.81%, ICICI Bank 1.26%, Ultratech Cement 1.16%, and M&M 1.14%. While the losers on the index were Asian Paints down by 2.37%, Bajaj Finserv 1.35%, Sun Pharma 1.13%, Titan Company 0.95%, and Kotak Mahindra Bank 0.93%.
The top gainers on the Nifty were Britannia Industries up by 8.43%, SBI 3.34%, Adani Enterprises by 3.13%, BPCL by 2.74% and Eicher Motors by 2.57%. While the top losers were Divi’s Lab down by 8.74%, Asian Paints 2.34%, Cipla 1.45%, Sun Pharma Industries 1.34% and Adani Ports & SEZ 1.31%.

Rail Vikas Nigam Limited, Bank of Baroda, Britannia Industries Limited, Union Bank of India and Railtel Corporation Of India Limited hit their 52-week high on Monday.
Anmol India Limited, DMCC SPECIALITY CHEMICALS LIMITED, Kanpur Plastipack Limited, Supriya Lifescience Limited, and Hindprakash Industries Limited touched a 52-week low on Monday.

Bank of Baroda, Britannia Industries Limited, Canara Bank, State Bank of India, and Adani Enterprises Limited were the most active equities on NSE.
The top volume gainers were Britannia Industries Limited, Bombay Burmah Trading Corporation Limited, HB Stockholdings Limited, Palash Securities Limited, and Goa Carbon Limited.

Sanwaria Consumer Limited, Ballarpur Industries Limited, Melstar Information Technologies Limited, BKM Industries Limited, and Future Enterprises Limited hit their upper price band.
Vikas Proppant & Granite Limited, Lakshmi Precision Screws Limited, Nila Spaces Limited, Reliance Home Finance Limited, and KBC Global Limited hit their lower price band. A total of 12 securities hit the upper price band, 17 securities hit the lower band and 02 securities hit both the upper and lower bands on November 07, 2022.
