Avenue Supermarts Limited

Avenue Supermarts Ltd, which owns and operates retail chain
D-Mart, reported a nearly twofold rise in its standalone revenue from
operations to Rs 9,806.89 crore for the first quarter ended on June 30, 2022.
The company has revenue from operations of Rs 5,031.75 crore in the April-June
quarter a year ago, the company said in a regulatory filing. The total number
of stores as of June 30, 2022, stood at 294.

Hero MotoCorp

The largest two-wheeler maker reported sales of 4.85 lakh
units of motorcycles and scooters in June 2022, a growth of 3.3% over 4.69 lakh
units sold in the corresponding month of the previous financial year. During
the quarter ended June 2022, it sold 13.90 lakh units, strong double-digit
growth of 35.7% over 10.25 lakh units sold in the year-ago period.

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals

The US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has issued Form
483 with one observation after an inspection at the company’s formulation
manufacturing facility based out of Aurangabad, India between June 27 and July
1, 2022.

Mahindra & Mahindra

The automobile company sold 54,096 vehicles in June 2022,
an increase of 64% against 32,964 units sold in the year-ago period. Export for
the month stood at 2,777 vehicles. A growth of 7% year on year. In June 2022,
it sold 41,848 tractors, a decline of 13% compared to 48,222 units sold in the
corresponding month the previous year.

TVS Motor Company

The two-wheeler maker reported sales of 3,08,501 units in
June 2022, up by 22% against 2,51,886 units sold in June 2021, including
two-wheelers sales of 23% year on year at 2,93,715 units in June 2022. Total
exports increased by 8% year on year to 1,14,449 units in June 2022.

Hemisphere Properties India

Tata Sons Pvt Ltd has offloaded 59.85 lakh equity shares or
a 2.1% stake in the company through open market transactions during June 28-29.
With this, Tata Sons’ stake in the company stands decreased to 11.97%, down
from 14.07% earlier.

CSB Bank

The private sector lender reported a 16.16% year-on-year
growth in gross advances at Rs 16,332.8 crore for the quarter ended June 2022
and total deposits grew by 8.65% to Rs 20,266.8 crore during the same period.
Advances against gold and gold jewelry at Rs 7,099.33 crore, which is 435 of
total advances, increased by 26.37% year on year in the first quarter of the
financial year.

Eicher Motors

The company reported sales of 61,407 units of Royal Enfield
in June 2022, an increase of 43% against 43,048 units sold in the same month
last year, which included exports of 11,142 units that grew by 54% YoY. During
the quarter, Eicher 1,87,205 units of Royal Enfield, up 51% over 1,23,640 units
sold in the same quarter previous year.

Ashoka Buildcon

The joint venture firm led by Ashoka Buildcon emerged as
“the lowest bidder” for the construction and maintenance of Rajiv Gandhi
Fintech Digital Institute, Jodhpur. The cost of the project of Rs 611 crore and
the construction period is 18 months from the commencement date. The company
has a joint venture with Cube Construction Engineering, wherein it owns a 65%
stake.
