State-owned Power Grid Corporation of India Limited
(PGCIL) on May 31 said it has acquired Mohanlalganj Transmission Limited in
Uttar Pradesh for over Rs 9 crore. Incorporate in June 2021, Mohanlalganj
Transmission Limited (MTL) is the project SPV (special purpose vehicle) to
establish an intra-state transmission system, PGCIL said in a BSE filing.
“…it is informed that PGCIL pursuant to its selection as the successful
bidder under tariff-based competitive bidding, has on May 30, 2022, acquired
MTL,” it added. The company was acquired for an aggregate value of about Rs
9.11 crore, including 10,000 equity shares along with assets and liabilities of
the company as of the acquisition date.

Bharat Dynamics

The state-owned defence firm has signed a contract with the Ministry of Defence worth Rs 2,971 crore for the supply of ASTRA MK-I Beyond Visual
Range (BVR) air to air missile and associate equipment to the Indian Air Force
& Indian Navy.

HFCL

HFCL, along with its material subsidiary HTL, has bagged
the purchase orders (PO) worth Rs 237.25 crore, from one of the leading private
telecom operators of the country. The company will supply optical fibre cables.
The contract will be executed by October 2022. However, the company did not
disclose the name of the customer.

Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Jagadish G Kaujalgi has
resigned from the company with effect from July 10.

Chief Financial Officer of the company. He ceased to be Chief Financial Officer
of the company on May 31.

Promoter Pawan Chaudhary has acquired 1.26 lakh equity
shares in the company through open market transactions. His shareholding in the
company increased to 12.82%, up from 11.87%.

Rail Vikas Nigam

Joint venture RVNL – Bhartia has received Letter of
Acceptance (LoA) from Northeast Frontier Railway for construction of single
line BG tunnel. The total estimated cost of the project is Rs 560.26 crore.
