The ICSE 10th result 2022 was declared on Sunday at 5 PM. The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) announced that 99.97% students passed the exam.

Four students – Hargun Kaur Matharu (Pune), Anika Gupta (Kanpur), Pushkar Tripathi (Balrampur) and Kanishka Mittal (Lucknow) – topped the class 10th exam with  499 marks (99.8%).

The second rank has been shared by 34 students with a score of 99.6 per cent, while 72 are on the third spot with 99.4 per cent mark.

The pass percentage for girls (99.98) is marginally higher than that for boys (99.97).

How to apply for rechecking and revaluation?

The CISCE states that students can apply for rechecking on its official website –  cisce.org. The charges for the same will be Rs 1000 per paper per subject.

Candidates will have to fill in application forms for revaluation. The deadline for application will be announced. 

The ICSE board secretary Gerry Arathoon on Saturday had said that marks of both first and second semesters  will be given equal weightage in the final score. 

The candidates who did not appear for either semester 1 or semester 2 examinations will be marked absent and their results will not be declared, he said.

“The results of the ICSE (Class 10), 2022 examination will be declared on Sunday, July 17 at 5:00 PM. The results will be made available on the CAREERS portal of the CISCE, on the website and through SMS,” said Arathoon, the Chief Executive and Secretary, Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE).
