Prime Minister Narendra
Modi on the occasion of Shikshak Parv 2021 has launched several key initiatives
as a part of National Education Policy (NEP). Taking part in a virtual
inaugural conclave from 10:30 am today, PM Modi addressed the teachers,
students and stakeholders and celebrates Shikshak Parv 2021 to honour the
contribution of teachers.

The Ministry of Education celebrates the Shikshak
Parv 2021 and the celebration across the country starts from September 5 and
will continue till September 17, 2021.
Among the various programs launched today, some
of the most important are the Indian Sign Language Dictionary for People with
Disabilities and School Quality Assurance and CBSE Assessment Framework, SQAA.
These programs will be used and will be part of the course soon.

Prime Minister Modi at the Shikshak Parv 2021
conclave said ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas’ ‘and Sabka Prayas’ is
an important concept at this time. Elaborating on the role that teachers play
in the Coronavirus outbreak, Prime Minister Modi said in India, the relationship between
teachers and students was similar to that of the family and not the formal one. Acknowledging the efforts of stakeholders in the education sector, Premier Modi
continued to introduce new plans to improve education system of India.
What happened in today’s inaugural
event of “Shikshak Parv” 2021:
The event was started with an address by the Education Minister, then
followed by the launch of several initiatives and a speech by Prime Minister Narendra
Modi.
PM Modi congratulated all the teachers who
received the National Award this year. He also said that their efforts were commendable.

The Indian Sign Language
Dictionary and Talking Books was developed or benefited people with
disabilities (PwD). This dictionary is a collection of more than 10,000 words
and will be part of the curriculum.
The School Quality
Assurance Framework and CBSE Assessment Framework, SQAA was introduced and PM
mode said the program will make the education sector more competitive and even
our students ready for the future.
PM Modi spoke about
the need for public participation in the implementation of NEP 2020. He said so
far the contribution of teachers, educators and other stakeholders has been
significant and at every level. However, now there is a need for community
involvement, in order to reach the next level.

Prime Minister Modi at
Shikshak Parv 2021 wished that private sectors to come forward and contribute to the
education sector. The idea should be to improve the quality of education,
especially in public schools.
He even talked about the
National Digital Educational Architecture (N-DEAR) and how it would help
eliminate inequality in the education sector. This will serve as a great link
between all educational activities.
Introducing NISHTHA 3.0,
the PM said NISHTHA Training Programs will help teachers learn about new
programs and technologies.
Vidanjali Portal was also
introduced to assist education volunteers, donors and CSR donors in school
development.
