Moradabad’s Sanskriti Thakur secured the second rank in Uttar Pradesh’s class 10th board examination. 

On Saturday, the Uttar Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (UPMSP) released the results for the board examination of class 10th, along with a list of toppers. The first rank was secured by Kanpur’s Prince Patel with 97.67%, followed by Thakur and Kanpur’s Kiran Kushwaha, who both scored 97.50%. 

Sanskriti Thakur is a student of Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College, who dreams of becoming an IAS officer and serving the public. 

Talking to ANI, Thakur expressed her joy and tipped the hat to her mother and siblings, who helped her study hard. She was also seen throwing a peace sign while posing for photographs.

“I am over the moon. I owe this to my teachers, my mother and my two elder sisters, who were all very helpful. I want to be an IAS officer when I grow up,” she told ANI.

On the other hand, Kanpur’s Kiran Kushwaha, who shares the second rank with Thakur, also talked about her achievement.

“I feel great. All my family members and teachers are overjoyed,” she told ANI. 

Other rank holders include Aniket Sharma (584/600; 97.33%), Palak Awasthi, Astha Singh (583/600; 97.17%) and Ekta Verma, Atharv Srivastava, Nainsi Verma, Pranshi Dwivedi (582/600; 97.00%).
