Hollywood actors Aaron Paul and Bryan Cranston are set to guest star in the sixth season of ‘Better Call Saul‘ as Jesse Pinkman and Walter White.

Writer Peter Gould also confirmed that the duo will have cameo appearances in the ‘Breaking Bad’ spin-off show.

“The first question we had when we started the show was, ‘Are we gonna see Walt and Jesse on the show?’ Instead of evading, I’ll just say yeah,” Gould said at PaleyFest LA, according to Variety.

“How or the circumstances or anything, you’ll just have to discover that for yourself, but I have to say that’s one of many things that I think you’ll discover this season,” Gould said without giving out too many details.

But what are some ways that the duo could star in season 6?

1. A random run-in

One of the easiest ways to place the duo inside Better Call Saul’s storyline is through a random encounter where they bump into each other. This theory is also the most speculated, however, it could set the characters up for just a tiny chunk of screentime.

2. Back to class

This storyline will give viewers a trip down the memory line, back to when Walt started as a chemistry teacher in ‘Breaking Bad’.

While the way the classroom scenario would play out and have links with Saul Goodman’s story remains unclear for now, this plotline would be a perfect way to introduce Walt back into the game.

3. Walt’s not dead?

According to popular theories circulating on Reddit, Walt’s return to the show could portray that he survived his momentous death in ‘Breaking Bad’. However, this plotline could undo everything in the original show, leaving viewers confused.

4.  Jesse helps out Gene

Jesse, the only character from ‘Breaking Bad‘ who is still alive, could appear in the flash-forward scenes with Gene, the alias used by Saul/Jimmy. Furthermore, a scene in season 5 of ‘Better Call Saul’ shows that Gene comes across a taxi driver who identifies him as Saul Goodman. This makes him reach out to Ed Galbraith (Robert Forster) to ask for a new alias, but he finally decides to solve the problem himself in some way.

While it is unclear what Saul meant by solving his problem in his own way, some viewers speculate that this incident could introduce Jesse into the show.

5. Jesse needs a criminal lawyer

Jesse popping back into the show can easily be done through a simple run-in with the law which would force him to seek the help of a criminal lawyer.

This could be when Saul Goodman could come in as the knight in shining armor and help fit Jesse right into season 6.
