It seems there is no end to Virat Kohli’s horrific form. On Sunday, the cricketer bagged his third golden duck in IPL 2022 when he was removed by left-arm spinner Jagadeesha Suchith in the very first ball of Royal Challengers Bangalores’ match against SunRisers Hyderabad.

As RCB opted to bat first at the Wankhede Stadium, Kohli was undone by Suchith in the first ball that the batter faced as an opener. Kohli tried to flick the ball over the short midwicket but it turned out to be a cheap dismissal as SRH captain Kane Williamson grabbed an easy catch. As Kohli fell for his sixth golden duck in the IPL, the cricketer wears a wry smile as his struggle for runs gets longer. He put his hand on his head in utter disappointment. Kohli scored 216 runs from 12 matches at a dismal average of 19.64.
Interestingly, Kohli got out for golden duck only thrice between 2008 and 2021 in IPL. And in 2022 alone he was removed for three golden ducks.
