“I don’t think people actually come up to me and say all this, which might be shocking for a lot of people to believe, but it’s true. I have not had anybody come up to me and ask for marriage. I don’t know what has happened to boys,” she said.
“Also on Instagram, there are those fan messages that are kind and lovely. But I feel it’s important to meet somebody organically because that’s when you get to know them for who they are,” she added.

Her idea of a perfect date.
“There is no such thing. For me, what’s important in a person is that they have to understand you. They have to be there for you. You know when they say during a wedding ‘In good times and bad’? I want to be with that person so it’s very important that someone gives you that comfort that you can spend the rest of your life with that person.”
“The person has to be someone who can nurture you and support you in your career. The most important thing is that a person should be in love with you and support you through your life endeavors,” Neha said.
Directed by Indrajit Nattoji, ‘Aafat-E-Ishq’ also stars Namit Das, Deepak Dobriyal, Amit Sial and Ila Arun.

Neha said it was an education working with renowned names from the industry. She added some of the scenes shot with Ila Arun were fun. “We did have a lot of nauk jhuak, but it was beautiful working with her. I have always been a big fan of her work and her music, so it was an honour to share screen space with her,” Neha said.
There is one scene in the film in which Ila Arun’s character suggests a makeover for Lajjo to help her find a partner. Asked how important looks were in real life, Neha said, “They fade away. Nothing will remain the same. You will have wrinkled skin, grey hair and you are probably not going to be as agile as you are.”
