Adele has rescheduled the dates for her postponed Las Vegas residency. The “Easy on Me” singer was forced to cancel scheduled gigs at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace Hotel in January, barely 24 hours before its opening night. She made heartfelt apologies at the time, stating she was “embarrassed” to have to cancel, but subsequently said she stood by her choice.
“Words can’t explain how ecstatic I am to finally be able to announce these rescheduled shows. I truly was heartbroken to have to cancel them,” the singer said on Monday in a new Instagram post.
“But after what feels like an eternity of figuring out logistics for the show that I really want to deliver, and knowing it can happen, I’m more excited than ever! Now I know for some of you it was a horrible decision on my part, and I will always be sorry for that, but I promise you it was the right one. To be with you in such an intimate space every week has been what I’ve most been looking forward to and I’m going to give you the absolute best of me. Thank you for your patience, I love you. Adele.”
All previously postponed WEEKENDS WITH ADELE shows have now been rescheduled, according to a statement put with Adele’s message on her website. In addition to the 24 postponed events, eight more ones have been announced. The residency will now include 32 performances between November 18, 2022, and March 25, 2023.
“Access will be limited with priority given to fans who held tickets for the original show dates or had previously registered and been waitlisted for the WEEKENDS WITH ADELE Verified Fan Presale,” the statement said.
Key dates to know
Current ticket holders will be able to get their money refunded until Monday, August 1, 2022. After that, no more refunds will be authorised.
On Wednesday, August 3, fans who are qualified for either the Refunded Fans Presale or the General Verified Fan Presale will get an email invitation from Ticketmaster.
Fans who qualify for the Refunded Fans Presale or the General Verified Fan Presale have until Sunday, August 7 at 11:59 pm PST to register for the new and rescheduled shows.
Fan’s Presale invites and codes will be refunded by Tuesday evening, August 9.
The Refunded Fans Presale will take place on Wednesday, August 10 from 10 am to 10 pm PST.
Invitations and codes for the General Verified Fan Presale will be mailed out by the evening of Wednesday, August 10.
The General Verified Fan Presale will take place on Thursday, August 11 from 10 am to 10 pm PST.
How to register for the presales
Ticketmaster Verified Fan is dedicated to getting more tickets into the hands of fans fairly and reasonably, at the rates set by the artist. Each presale is restricted to a small set of qualified fans.
On Wednesday, August 3, fans who purchased tickets for the original performance dates or who previously registered and were waitlisted for the Weekends with Adele Verified Fan Presale will get an email invitation from Ticketmaster with additional details on how to participate.
