Director Anu Menon has yet again collaborated with production house Abundantia Entertainment for her next film after Vidya Balan starrer ‘Shakuntala Devi’. Menon is now helming a thrilling murder mystery, said a statement.
Presently in the final stages of the screenplay, the new project is currently under production with principal photography of it is expected to begin in April-May 2021.
“I am very happy that Abundantia Entertainment is home to my new film as well. I had a great time telling Shakuntala Devi’s story with Vikram and the team led by Shikhaa. Their passion for telling compelling stories and commitment to a director’s vision are rare to find. We have a very different story coming up this time around and I hope we receive the same love from the audience as we did for our first collaboration together,” said Menon in a statement.

‘Shakuntala Devi’ that was premiered on July 31 on Amazon Prime Video was streamed across 200 countries. The film starred Vidya Balan in the titular role along with Sanya Malhotra, Amit Sadh, and Jisshu Sengupta.
