Actor- filmmaker Shekhar Suman, who was actively raising his concerns over the sudden demise of Sushant Singh Rajput and has even expressed his disappointment after the AIIMS report ruled out murder in the late actor’s death case, now wants the world to follow the “goodness” of ‘Dil Bechara’ star.
In a social media post, he asked fans and followers to “let Sushant be in a peaceful state”
“We should just let Sushant be in a peaceful state. Enveloped in the brouhaha of sweet n gentle memories. Dipped in the sugar-honey goodness of warmth, affection, and camaraderie. Otherwise the opportunists and the vultures would feast on him and vandalize his purity,” he posted on Twitter.
“The goodness, hard work, dedication ambition, honesty, what SSR stood for and the legacy that he has left behind for all of us to follow is exemplary,” added the senior actor-filmmaker.
Shekhar, who was seen sharing his viewpoint in Sushant’s case at various news channels , also took to social media to express his disappointment on how the case has been treated.
“Sushant’s case has been strangulated to death.Asphyxia? or Aise fix kiya?,” wrote the actor on October 10.
Sushant was found dead at his Mumbai apartment on June 14 and since then three national investigating agencies, CBI, ED, and NCB, are probing the case. His girlfriend, actor Rhea Chakraborty, was accused by the late actor’s father of abetting his son’s suicide . She was later booked for drug-related matters in the case and has been released from jail on bail in October.
