Actor Alec Baldwin has deleted one of his two verified accounts on Twitter, days after his interview on ABC in which he talked about the fatal shooting on the set of ‘Rust’ for the first time.

Baldwin’s verified @alecbaldwin account no longer exists on Twitter as of Sunday evening, reports Hollywood Reporter. The actor used that account to issue his first official statement following the October 21 on-set incident involving Baldwin accidently killing the film’s cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injured director Joel Souza.

“There are no words to convey my shock and sadness regarding the tragic accident that took the life of Halyna Hutchins, a wife, mother and deeply admired colleague of ours. I’m fully cooperating with the police investigation to address how this tragedy occurred,” Baldwin said via the @alecbaldwin Twitter handle.

The actor’s  second account named @alecbaldwin__ Twitter account, also verified, is still functioning but no post has come from the account since October 19.

Both Baldwin’s and Hilaria Baldwin’s Instagram accounts were still functional as of Sunday evening.

Baldwin previously issued a statement after Hutchins, 42, was killed on location. “There are no words to convey my shock and sadness regarding the tragic accident that took the life of Halyna Hutchins, a wife, mother and deeply admired colleague of ours,” he wrote that time.

“I’m fully cooperating with the police investigation to address how this tragedy occurred and I am in touch with her husband, offering my support to him and his family. My heart is broken for her husband, their son, and all who knew and loved Halyna,” added the actor.

On October 21, on the New Mexico set of ‘Rust’, a gun that Baldwin was holding discharged, killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the set and injuring director Joel Souza.

“All of what happened that day leading up to this event was precipitated on one idea, and that idea is that Halyna and I had something profound in common, that is we both assumed the gun was empty, other than those dummy rounds,” said the actor.

The 63-year-old sat down with ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos for an interview that aired Thursday night, discussing the incident and saying that he “would go to any lengths to undo what happened”, reports people.com.

Toward the conclusion of Baldwin’s emotional interview, the star said, “My family is all I have. Honest to God, I couldn’t give a s— about my career anymore.”
