Ram Gopal Verma’s ‘Sarkar’ completes 15 years since its release in 2005. The film starred Amitabh Bachchan as the patriarch which was inspired from the 1972 Hollywood film ‘The Godfather’.
Remembering the film, Amitabh took to Instagram and shared the film poster.
The political crime thriller also starred Abhishek Bachchan as younger son, along with Kay Kay Menon, Katrina Kaif, Anupam Kher and Tanisha Mukherjee. The film’s success prompted Ram Gopal Verma to turn it into a series.
On the work front, Amitabh will next be seen in Rumi Jaffery’s ‘Chehre’, Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra’ and Nagraj Manjule”s ‘Jhund’.
