Day seven
of Bigg Boss 14 on Sunday saw the season’s first ‘Weekend ka Vaar’ episode, which
started with Mumbai Indians players Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya and Ishan Kishan
playing games with the contestants and ended with no one being evicted from the
house.

The triumvirate
of Mumbai Indians cricketers joined the evenings proceedings via video call and
spoke with host Salman Khan about the return of sports and some semblance of normalcy following the prolonged coronavirus pandemic-enforced break.

Earlier,
tempers started to flare as Eijaz Khan got into a heated argument with the ‘Toofani
Seniors’ over their decision to confirm Nikki Tamboli as a confirmed contestant.

Questioning
their decision, he said Tamboli will be difficult to control now with her
authority elevated to the level of the seniors as she was ready to let the
house starve over a pair of clothes a couple of days ago.

The
contestants also played a ‘galatfehmi ke gubare’ task, in which they had to list the delusions that they thought other contestants were under.

The
contestants also met the lead cast of the show ‘Choti Sarrdaarni’ (Nimrit Kaur
Ahluwalia and Avinesh Rekhi) and had a lively interaction with them. One of the
tasks they were given by the duo included the seniors having to treat the
freshers as products and trying to sell them while listing their characteristics.

The Bigg
Boss then tasked the inmates with rating themselves under a number of categories
on the scale of excellent, good, average, below average and poor. The
performance of the inmates turned out to be underwhelming, according to the seniors
and host Salman Khan.

The ‘Dabangg’
star lashed out at the contestants for putting up a poor show and not
entertaining the audience.

As the episode
drew to a close, no contestant was evicted from the house, although the promos
for Monday’s episode showed a glimpse at what’s to come: seniors will have to
decide on the first contestant to leave the house following rounds of tasks.
