‘Triangle of Sadness,’ a class warfare comedy by Swedish director Ruben Ostlund, won the Palme d’Or at the 75th Cannes Film Festival on Saturday. Palme d’Or is the highest prize awarded at the film festival and Ostlund has won it for the second time – the first being for his 2017 movie ‘The Square’.

“We wanted after the screening (for people) to go out together and have something to talk about. All of us agree that the unique thing with cinema is that we’re watching together. So we have to save something to talk about but we should also have fun and be entertained,” Ostlund said after winning the award.
