Conor McGregor has been accused of “violently” raping a woman in the bathroom at Kaseya Center during Game 4 of the NBA Finals between the Miami Heat and Denver Nuggets. But fans have started questioning the account of the victim on social media.

Incidentally, the game already made headlines after the UFC star punched the Heat’s mascot as part of a publicity stunt which ended up sending the man behind the costume to the hospital.

McGregor has already denied the rape allegations made by an unnamed woman who sent demand letters through her lawyer Ariel Mitchell, to McGregor, NBA and Miami Heat where she alleges that Heat and NBA security separated her from her friend and forced her into a men’s bathroom inside the arena where McGregor forcibly kissed the woman and proceeded to rape her as the guards stood guard outside the bathroom.

However, fans are finding loopholes in the victim’s account as they refuse to believe that she was kidnapped by NBA and Miami Heat security. Several fans defended McGregor.

One Twitter user wrote, “These reports are saying the NBA and Heat security helped drag this woman in the bathroom for McGregor?? So I’m supposed to believe… that Conor called up Adam Silver and organized this whole thing☠️ Then she’s able to land “repeated elbows???” Something isn’t right at all”

“This is an extreme allegation. She’s basically saying she got kidnapped by his security team so he could rape her in a bathroom at an NBA game.  Any security video to confirm any aspect of her story?”, another user wrote.

One user wrote, “If you’re claiming that you fought off Conor McGregor with elbows and escaped, that just doesn’t seem whatsoever believable to me. He’s a world class trained martial artist that just didn’t happen.”

Miami Heat has also released a statement on the matter. The statement read, “We are aware of the allegations and are conducting a full investigation. Pending the outcome of the investigation, we will withhold further comments.”
