It is not a good day for Reese Witherspoon’s ‘Legally Blonde’ fans as the release date
of its third sequel is postponed to year 2022.

According to a Variety report, the third part
of the blockbuster comedy which was scheduled to be released this February will
now hit the theatres on May 20, 2022 as the production was halted owing to the
coronavirus outbreak.

Reese Witherspoon, known for her stellar performance in Wild
plays the protagonist Elle Woods in the American legal comic, that revolves
around Wood’s attempt of winning her boyfriend, Warner Huntington (Matthew
Davis) who dumps her to Harvard to become a quintessential politician, and realizing
her worth in the process.

Legally Blonde part one and two however received
tremendous adulation from the audience and won various prestigious awards like
Gloden Globes, British Comedy and Guild Awards.
