Cuffe Owens, the nephew of United States President Joe Biden, married television star Meghan O’Toole King in a private ceremony on Monday. The 37-year-old actor famed for her role in ‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ opened up about her union with Owens in an interview and spoke about how the couple met and why they tied the knot in Pennsylvania.
King described her wedding as an event that had “no major frills, no overthinking, no drama.” The ceremony was hosted at Owens’ childhood home in Kennett Square, Pennsylvania.

While speaking about where she met Owens, the actor said, “We connected on a dating app, texted for a day or two, then spent five straight hours on the phone the first time we spoke”, according to reports from Bride Magazine.
She added, “By the time that call ended, Cuffe was booked and packed for a flight to St. Louis that took off in about eight hours. Within a week, we were back on the East Coast, meeting his family, and starting to plan our future together. We didn’t leave each other’s side for weeks.”

The relationship of King and Owens is believed to be young as the first public announcement of the two being together was in September this year. King posted a photo of the couple on Instagram with the caption “Trying my best to avoid any cheesy introductions like “my main squeeze”.
Hours after the ceremony on Monday, King posted another photo that seems to clicked after the two had tied the knot. The photo, which featured the couple in wedding attire, was captioned “We just knew. Introducing Mr. and Mrs. Owens.”
While speaking about their nuptial, King said in a statement to Bride Magazine, “When we realized that Cuffe’s parents’ wedding anniversary — October 11 — was a holiday Monday, we both knew exactly what we were going to do, where we were going to do it, and how we were going to do it. It’s a beautiful thing to see eye-to-eye with each other as we do.”
While the guest list of the event remains largely unclear, the spotlight remained on United States President Joe Biden, along with wife and First Lady Jill Biden, who attended the wedding.
