David Crosby, the iconic rock guitarist of The Byrds and Crosby, Stills & Nash fame, died on January 9 after a long illness as per his representatives. He was 81 years old. 

Crosby married Dana Dance in May 1987. He was 45 years old at the time while Dana was 35. They tied the knot at the Holly wood Church of Religious Science in Los Angeles. His bandmate at The Byrds, Stephen Stills, gave away the bride.

Their son Django Crosby was conceived after intensive fertility treatment that Crosby and his wife had to undergo. 

Other children of David Crosby

James Raymond, Crosby’s son with Celia Crawford Ferguson from 1962, was given up for adoption and later found his biological father. As a member of CPR and a member of the touring bands Crosby & Nash and Crosby, Stills & Nash, Raymond has collaborated with Crosby on stage and in the studio since 1997.

Crosby also had two more children: Erika, a daughter, with Jackie Guthrie; Donovan, a daughter, with ex-girlfriend Debbie Donovan.
