The final trailer of Marvel‘s ensemble superhero movie ‘Eternals‘ is out and by the looks of it, fans are finally going to get the answers they have been yearning for – why did the Eternals not help Avengers in their fight with Thanos for mankind? The trailer was released by the Marvel studios on Thursday. Take a look at the breathtaking trailer here.

The 3-minute long trailer captioned, “When you love something, you protect it,” is set to haunting music and a flashback of the journey the deviant fighters had taken up.

As per the trailer, the reason behind them not interfering in the war against Thanos was that the Eternals were explicitly ordered by Celestials not to interfere unless Deviants were involved.

Now, this part interestingly reveals that Thanos, who is an Eternal–Deviant hybrid in comics was just an extraterrestrial MCU.

The trailer also reveals that it was the undoing of Thanos’ snap that may have allowed or invited the Deviants, probably led by Kro, a leader of Eternals in comics.

Written by Matthew and Ryan Firpo, Eternals stars Angelina Jolie, Richard Madden, Kumail Nanjiani, Salma Hayek, Gil Birmingham, Gemma Chan, Lia McHugh, Brian Tyree Henry, Lauren Ridloff, Barry Keoghan, Don Lee, Harish Patel, and Kit Harington.

Directed by Academy Award–winner Chloé Zhao, ‘Eternals’ has hair-raising action sequences clubbed together with epic superhero costumes and an engaging plot. A part of the teaser shows Richard Madden’s omnipotent Ikaris and Gemma Chan’s Sersi tying the knot in the traditional Indian way, with Gemma in a saree and Madden in a sherwani.
