Model-actor Sidharth Shukla died on Thursday in Mumbai. He was 40. The actor was reportedly brought dead to Cooper Hospital in Mumbai. The hospital, however, has not confirmed the cause of his death but several media houses reported that he died of a massive heart attack.

“No injuries were sustained on the body of actor Siddharth Shukla. The cause of the death is yet to be ascertained. A team of police is present at the Shukla’s residence for investigation,” Mumbai Police told ANI.

A video, which is said to be of Siddharth Shukla’s, has been going viral on social media since the news of his shocking demise broke out. The two-minute video shows a man sitting on stairs post workout with his head held low. The clip is from a gym and is being circulated as Sidharth Shukla’s last moments before he died. The video, however, is fake as reported by several users on Twitter.

Siddharth Shukla debuted in television with a show named “Baabul ka Aangan Chhottey Na”. He, however, became the household name after his stint in the famous TV series, “Balika Vadhu”. Shukla did supporting roles in films like “Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya” starring Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt.
