With the release of “The Joker and The Queen,” Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift continue the love tale that began with their first collaboration, “Everything Has Changed.”

In October 2021, Sheeran released a solo version of “The Joker and The Queen” as part of his fifth studio album, “=” (Equals).

Swift’s vocals pop out on the latest edition of the ballad, which was released on February 10.

The accompanying music video, which was also posted on YouTube at the same time, reunites the lookalike child actors who previously appeared in the 2012 video for “Everything Has Changed.”

As fans are reintroduced to elementary school sweethearts Jack and Ava 10 years later, they are overcome with nostalgia. They’re now grown up and attending college in the video for “The Joker and The Queen,” but they still look like Sheeran and Swift.

“The Joker and the Queen” is the fourth collaboration between the two artists. They followed up “Everything Has Changed” with “End Game” in 2017 and “Run (Taylor’s Version)” from Swift’s “Red” album rerelease in 2021.
