The Heirs: Choi Young-do
Choi Young-do played by Kim Woo-bin was brought up in a dysfunctional family. As a result of which he comes off as harsh. He falls in love with the new student at the school Cha Eun-sung. He doesn’t hide his feelings and confesses to Eun-sung. But he comes off as a cold person. As the drama progresses Young-do became one of the most liked characters of the show.

Mr Sunshine: Goo Dong-mae
Yoo Yeon Seok plays the villainous Gong Dong-mae. He is deceitful and evil with whom the viewers had a love-hate relationship. But his soft spot for Go Ae-shin played by Kim Tae-ri makes you think otherwise.

Cha Do-hyun’s (Ji Sung) alternate personality Shin Se-gi falls for Oh Ri-jin (Hwang Jung Eum). He loved Ri-jin for as long as he can remember. He only cares for Ri-jin and is willing to do anything for her.

Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo: Wang So
Wang So (Lee Joon-gi) is cold and distant. His goal is to take over the throne to become the King. He tries very hard not to develop feelings for Hae Soo (IU). But once he accepts his feelings for her, Wang So becomes the most charming lover.

Wok of Love: Jang Hyuk
Doo Chil Sung (Jang Hyuk) is a loan shark and an owner of a Chinese restaurant. He is a ruthless businessman who fears none. But as the show progresses, the viewers learn that he is loyal and a trustworthy person. And with his love for Dan Sae-woo (Jung Ryeo Won) we realise that he has a very soft personality.
