The You actor then moved to Hollywood with his family and opted to graduate from high school early to pursue acting as a full-time career.

At this point, he landed small parts in projects in shows like ‘The Young and the Restless’, ‘The Twilight Zone.’ Some of the bigger roles he did were John Tucker Must Die and Easy A but he’s most widely known for his role as Dan Humphrey in the original Gossip Girl.

One of the big-budget teen shows based out of Upper East Manhattan, Gossip Girl was Badgley’s first big break in Hollywood. Paired against well-known actor Blake Lively, Penn played the role of lonely New York boy ‘Dan Humprehy,’ who is a creepy yet intelligent stalker of the city’s upper east siders.

The original Gossip Girl series ran from 2007 to 2012. After that, Penn Badgley was seen in Lifetime’s thriller drama ‘You’ and received tremendous recognition for his role. The show was later purchased by streaming platform Netflix and is now one of the most hit shows on the platform.

In ‘You’, Penn Badgley plays the character of Joe Goldberg, who is a dad in the latest season and has named his son Baby Henry.

The latest season, which was released on October 15, will show Joe and Love live in the suburbs as they moved away from Los Angeles to a comfortable neighbourhood in the Northern California enclave of Madre Linda. While Joe embraces becoming a father, he is wary of Love’s deadly impulsiveness.
