Actors George Clooney and Julia Roberts are reuniting for an upcoming romantic comedy named ‘Ticket to Paradise,’ reported PTI. ‘The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel’ fame Ol Parker is set to direct the film for Universal Pictures and Working Title.

Clooney and Roberts will be playing a divorced couple who teams up and travels to Bali to stop their daughter from making the same mistake they think they made 25 years ago.

The ‘Ocean’s Eleven’ star who are also longtime friends will be working together for the first time after Jodie Foster’s 2016 thriller ‘Money Monster,’ according to Variety.

The script of ‘Ticket to Paradise’ has been written by Oscar nominee Theodore Melfi based on an idea by Parker and Daniel Pipski. The film will be produced by Working Title’s Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner along with Deborah Balder Stone and Sarah Harvey.

Clooney was last seen in Netflix’s sci-fi movie ‘The Midnight Sky’ while Roberts is set to play Martha Mitchell the TV series ‘Gaslit.’ She will also star in ‘White Bird.’

Talking about ‘The Midnight Sky’ recently, Clooney said, “We shot a movie (“The Midnight Sky”) that was designed to be shown in theaters. The first thing I said to the Netflix guys was ‘I don’t want anybody to ever say, ‘Stay home from school, don’t go out for dinner, but definitely come to see my movie'”

The comment came when Clooney talked about how the year 2020 changed the way people consume entertainment.
