If you haven’t heard of Yashraj Mukhate, you’re probably living under a rock. After Rasode Me Kaun Tha, Pawri Ho Rahi Hai, and a number of other earworms, Youtuber and Instagram sensation Yashraj Mukhate is back with yet another catchy number. The musician’s target this time is not Gopi Bahu, but actor Preity Zinta.

The self-taught music producer shared a funny reel on Instagram in which he claimed that there is a rhythm called Preity Zinta, which one can play on a dholak. He then proceeds to demonstrate this incredible new rhythm, adding it to classic songs like ‘Koyal Si Teri Boli,’ from the film ‘Beta.’ He then proceeds to challenge his 2 million followers to try and see for themselves how this rhythm works.

This video once again has gone viral, with the internet gushing over his latest creation. Some even went as far as comparing it with the upbeat in Reggae and ska music. Mukhate seems to be the man with a golden touch, making everything he touches go viral.

The former engineering student burst into the YouTube scene with his reworking of Kokillaben and Gopi bahu’s Rasode Me Kaun Tha. After that his fame has only grown, with his recent song Pawri Ho Rahi Hai having been retweeted and recreated by celebrities like Akshay Kumar Vijay Varma, Rasika Dugal, Kartik Aaryan, Disha Patani, Raveena Tandon, Taapsee Pannu and Shahid Kapoor.

In spite of this enormous fame, Mukhate remains humble. In an interview with NDTV, he said, “honestly, I was expecting the buzz around me to die down; we all know how social media works, but the small surprises I keep getting in the form of Tapsee Pannu recreating Biggini Shoot or Raveena Tandon Ma’am making a reel on ‘Tommy’ keep me going!” he says.

Only time will tell if his latest creation, the Preity Zinta rhythm, also gets the widespread fame that his other creations have, but going by Yashraj Mukhate’s golden touch, we should get ready to make our next reel on it.
