Actor Devin Ratray, best known for playing Buzz McCallister in the original Home Alone movies, has been accused of strangling his girlfriend following an alleged altercation. The actor has reportedly been issued a ticket for assault and battery.

The 44-year-old and his girlfriend were staying together at an Oklahoma City hotel on December 9 when the alleged incident took place. He issued a citation that morning, however, no arrest was made.

The following day, his girlfriend gave a statement, claiming that Ratray “beat the crap out of her,” as per the police report.

She said the two got into an altercation that continued when they arrived at their hotel room and that he “threw her on the bed and started strangling her and used his other hand [to] cover her mouth so she could not breath [sic].”

“She said she bit his hand and he punched her in the face. She rolled off the bed and left the room. She went in to a stairwell and cried. She decided to go back to the room, get her stuff, and get her own room. When she went to retrieve her laptop, [he] pushed her against the desk hurting her arm,” the report said.

The alleged victim told the cops that she “did not want to press charges at that time.”
