Angus Cloud, the actor famous for portraying the drug dealer Fezco “Fez” O’Neill on the popular HBO show “Euphoria,” has died at the age of 25.

According to the statement sent to TMZ, the actor was grieving the loss of his father, who had recently died. “Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss”, the statement continued. “The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend,” the statement said.

The cause of death is yet unknown. According to the statement, Angus was upfront about his struggle with mental health. “It is hoped that his departure will serve as a reminder to others that they are not alone”, the statement added.

The family’s statement has hinted at Angus’ difficulties coping with his father’s recent passing. On social media, Cloud, however, had said not much about the death of his father.

He posted a picture of his late father on July 14 wearing a red tracksuit and extending a pinky. The post’s caption was simply “Miss u breh.” His followers responded to his upload with a lot of sympathy, and many have since expressed messages regarding the star’s passing.

Angus, who was on the rise in Hollywood, became famous for playing Fezco in the television series Euphoria. In the popular HBO series, Fezco, a drug dealer and school dropout, loved Rue, the show’s lead character played by actress Zendaya, and supported her during her battle with addiction.

The actor also appeared in North Hollywood, The Perfect Women, The Things They Carried, and Your Lucky Day in addition to Euphoria. Angus had also made appearances in Noah Cyrus’ music videos and Juice WRLD’s role as the face of Polo Ralph Lauren fragrances.
