After Christopher Fox, Uncut Gems actor Julia Fox’s brother was arrested in a ghost gun raid earlier this month, the actor finally reacted to it in a TikTok video by saying that she is ‘embarrassed’.
She, however, emphasized that her father, who was also detained in the same raid, had no involvement in the crime. “My dad was released that night,” she said in the video.
“It was determined that he had no involvement and didn’t really know what was going on,” she added.
In spite of her brother’s arrest, she came to the defense of his character in the video. She said that both she and her brother have a lot of childhood trauma, and that is partly why she thinks Christopher Fox did what he did.
“I know my brother, and I’ve always known him to be the sweetest, most gentle guy, soft-spoken. He loves animals, loves to plant flowers, loves nature,” she said.
“But I will say, both my brother and I have a lot of trauma,” she went on.
“The difference is I’m scrappy, I’m a fighter,” she went on to explain. “I was able to release a lot of that rage. Whereas Christopher, he internalized it.”
During the previous week, the Ghost Gun Team of the NYPD discovered untraceable firearm components that are associated with weapons capable of being manufactured using a 3D printer, along with illegal drugs during a raid on Christopher Fox’s residence in the Upper East Side.
Christopher Fox is facing multiple charges that include criminal possession of a controlled substance, manufacture of a machine gun, and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.
These charges reflect the severity of the offenses allegedly committed by Mr. Fox and the danger posed by the untraceable firearm parts found in his possession.
