It goes without saying that ‘Friends’ is one of the most iconic sitcoms and TV shows of all time. Even though it has been 17 years since the release of its last episode, it is to this day one of the most talked-about TV shows in the world. For a show of ‘Friends‘ caliber, it is hard to handpick only a few memorable moments since it keeps you entertained from the start till the end.

But here are a few iconic moments from ‘Friends’ that we just cannot forget:

Enter Rachael…with a wedding dress

In the very first episode, ‘The One Where Monica Gets a Roommate’, Rachel is introduced to the show as she enters Central Perk with a wedding dress, right after Ross says “I just want to be married again” to his friends who were on the couch. And Chandler’s witty response, “And I just want a million dollars”, will forever be etched in our minds.

“JOEY DOESN’T SHARE FOOD!”

Joey has two simple rules when it comes to eating: eat a lot, do not share any food. But unfortunately, his date Sarah was not aware of them until she took a few French fries from Joey’s plate. Yet, Joey is seen sharing food with his friends in other episodes. Maybe, he only shares food with his friends, since not even little Emma was exempted from this rule.

“How you doin?”

Joey’s go-to pick-up line, and one of the most quoted lines in the show, probably almost as quoted as “WE WERE ON A BREAK”. The trademark catchphrase first appears in the episode ‘The one with Rachel’s crush’ in the fourth season.

The keys

In the last episode, the six friends leaving their keys to Monica’s apartment on a table was a reminder to us of all the fondness, humour, happiness, togetherness, failure, success, they all together felt in that house, and also of how we experienced all those moments with them.
